If I join the $99 All Access Membership, what do I get?

With your $99 annual membership, you have access to everything in the VMG library. You can download anything and everything as many times, and as often as you like. Files are available in either the MPG or QuickTime formats. You will have complete access for 1-year. At the end of the year, you can choose to cancel or continue your membership for another year.

How often do you update your web site with new content?

We add new backgrounds every month. Typically we will add 10 to 15 new backgrounds, varying between looping motions, long plays, long plays with music, countdowns & still images. We usually add content based on the current season (e.g, Christmas backgrounds around the 1st of December).

If I cancel my membership after 1- year, can I keep what I’ve downloaded?

Yes. You will always own the content you’ve purchased and downloaded.

How does licensing / ownership of backgrounds work, once I’ve purchased?

Whether you join the all access library, or downloaded a single background, your church / organization owns the content. The content can be used anywhere within the church (example…main service, youth service, mens /womens ministry…etc). The content is licensed to the church / organization, not the computer.

What if I move / change churches or ministries after I’ve downloaded backgrounds to my computer? Can I still use these backgrounds at my new location?

We license our backgrounds just like most software companies license their products. Essentially, it’s a single-organization license. Technically, you should not use backgrounds that you purchased for “First Baptist Church” after you’ve moved to “Second Baptist Church”. However, if you’re a member of our All Access library, you can sign-up “Second Baptist” for their own membership. Then “Second Baptish Church” is free to use the content you’ve downloaded, so long as “First Baptist Church” is no longer using it. We realize there are many different situations that can come up, so please contact us if you have any questions.

Our church moved, and I would like to update the address in my account. How do I make changes to my account?

You have complete access to your account. Similar to iTunes, you can sign on using your user name and password, and update your account information any time you would like. Click the ‘Settings’ link near the top of the page, then click on ‘Change password/Edit profile’ located under the heading Useful Links. The Settings area is also where you would cancel or renew your membership.

I would like to join your All Access Library, but I don’t have a credit card to use. Can I still join by using a church or personal check?

Yes. Request an invoice for a 1-year membership to our library, and we will send you one via email. Simply print and mail the invoice back with a check, and we will email you a coupon code for you to sign-up. You will have complete access just as if you signed up with a credit card.

Will motion backgrounds from VMG Backgrounds work in powerpoint?

Yes. Any MPEG file will work in PowerPoint. Once an MPEG file is downloaded from VMGbackgrounds, insert the file into a PowerPoint presentation in the same way you add a picture or movie. Please note: if you would like to place text on top of an MPEG file, you may need a plug-in call Power Plugs.

Will the still images from VMG Backgrounds work in PowerPoint?

Yes. Simply download the JPG file, and insert into any PowerPoint presentation.

Will motion backgrounds work in Keynote?

Yes. Keynote fully supports QuickTime files (.mov). VMG backgrounds offers QuickTime files for all motion backgrounds as part of the All Access Library membership.

Can I apply text on top of a QuickTime file within Keynote?

Yes. Keynote lets you place text on top of video, without any additional software or plug-ins.

I don’t use Powerpoint or Keynote. I purchased a specialty program. Will your backgrounds work in my program?

Yes. There are many types of software programs on the market, made  specifically for churches. Some of the more popular programs are: Sunday Plus, Easy Worship, Media Shout, Song Show Plus, Live Worship and Presentation  Manager. We’ve tested every program and our backgrounds work with all of them. You will want to check with your software provider which format works best….(example, Easy Worship works best with MPEG files, while Sunday Plus prefers QuickTime). All programs will work with at least one of these formats.

How are your backgrounds delivered?

All of our backgrounds are available for purchase and download on our web site. Downloaded backgrounds are compressed as .zip files. After the download process has completed, you will need to expand the file (if it hasn’t already done so) by double-clicking it. Then add the resulting background file (.jpg, .mov, or .mpg) to your software per the program’s instructions.

I would love to use your backgrounds, but I don’t have high speed internet access at my church or home. Is there a way to get your backgrounds on CD or DVD?

We do offer some of our content on CD / DVD, and we will be increasing our offerings in the future. We also have many members who will visit a local coffee shop, book store or library where high speed internet is offered and spend some time downloading backgrounds to their laptops. Once you have the content downloaded, you can move it around via a USB flash / thumb drive. This is a great way to have access to all of our media without having high speed internet.
